You'd be surprised how little I photograph this dog, so when it started snowing (again) in London, I thought I should grab the opportunity before I missed it. I had been watching the snow flurry outside my window and thinking how lovely it would look through my Minolta 28mm lens, which is my go-to for landscapes, indoor documentary-style portraits where space and context are key, and anything with an ethereal, cinematic look. Being manual focus, and such a wide angle, it wasn't going to help me focus on a golden retriever puppy going totally crackers in the snow and running here there and everywhere in the blink of an eye... And there aren't a lot of angles to choose from when you're chasing a puppy over slippery ground, so, results are limited, but I love these.
